In came a message from our superlative reader, narrator - and reviewer (interesting how that works - they love the masterpiece (not my words, Janet's!) that much that they then either translate it or narrate it - true DOERS!) - Janet Clare about a couple of other books she's about to read.
Those are "Advanced, PROFOUND Isometric and Flexibility Training" - and "Isometric and Flexibility Training - the COMPILATION!".

As she pronounced my name PERFECTLY (which is interesting) - and as she's reading the book out loud, I can hear the giggle. It says it all "here I am again, Rahul!" ...
And I'm glad she's got the book, and reading it - and enjoying it from the sounds of it!
Certainly, as I told Janet, Janet, remain as you are - "as is right now" - certainly no need to be big and burly, hehe - especially given the topic isometrics is for EVERYONE - and given a lot of the exercises I promote, including some of the more effective ones like the pull-up - WOMEN do them far better than a lot of fat men prancing around with their bellies claiming "they're big but not fat" - while the women crank out pull-ups effortlessly and get fitter, leaner, ,meaner and stronger - with every passing day.
Not EVERY woman obviously.
But you'd be surprised at the numbers that do!
And it was interesting, I was reading what another bodyweight exercises Guru who I wont name here was saying about "people call me skinny, so they think I'm not strong, but one doesn't have to be big to be strong!"
So true, especially considering his 20 pull-up per set challenge. He's even more hardcore than I am - I say you're not strong if you cannot do at least ONE pull-up in perfect form chin above bar - preferably 5- he's got the bar set - no pun intended - at 20 perfect reps!

I'm not going to name him here either ... but you've likely heard of him if you're into serious bodyweight training.
And he's spot on in saying what I do myself - that it hardly matter if you're 250 lbs - or half that weight - so long as you're not fat - you should be able to do pull-ups just fine. Indeed, my friend! I say the same damned thing - especilly to fat guys who claim "my girlfriend is better than me at hill sprints becaus eI'm big!!!!!!!!!!"

If that m is FAT - then you wont do good at hill sprints, simple as that. If it's muscle, you'll do just fine no matter how big you are, Ive given you examples of old time strongmen repeatedly who were truly big, and did superlatively well on all types of bodyweight exercises including the super advanced ones!
Anyway - a cetain Schofield in UK on his knees reading this might be lusting after big burly men to "take him".

Rahul - We addressed this before, he's spot on in term of the "for now" - anytime you OMIT that, it leads to tacit "acceptance of the situation as is" which is NOT conducive to IMPROVEMENT - conversely, when you say "for now", you are CHOMPING at the bit to improve NOW! Anyone can tell you which is more desirable - the former, or latter. HA!
I particularly enjoyed reading Rahul's advice re: visualization and "writing down goals on paper." I've often said to people that I have "...goals in life", but wondered how to go about achieving them or even sticking to the process itself. His trials and tribulations make for a great inspirational story and one that I can apply to my own life. Well done!

Solid read for those who are SERIOUS about training
As a current coach, I'm always on the lookout for varying types of workout routines for my athletes. After reading Rahul's book, I'm re-energized as to a new perspective I can share with my team(s). I've tried some of his 'sample workouts', and believe me- they're NOT easy but the results are spectacular. Highly recommended.
Indeed my friend, indeed, and he's even gotten Animal Kingdom Workouts. (after I told him it was basically level Two from the book above)
Oh boy - I can only imagine how much he'll love that one!
So will YOU, my friend - all of these books if you just stop making excuses (those that are) - and get them NOW.

I received an interesting one from Vicky in China - though I've no idea why she sent it over.
(Hopefully not "monkey writing jobs" - one can never tell with these idiots).
(On that note, I recieved another wacko WeShat message from another "Vicky" - also in China - asking me for the nth to do dancing monkey jobs which I simply won't. Ugh).
But anyway, THIS Vicky (the third one was the one that called foreigners "cheap" and what now while being the first in line to snap up "red packets" or other stupidity - basically a female version of the Bozo) .. actually asked something decent!
And it made me pause and THINK.
Because it's the first time I've been asked that!
are you a author?
If you were to ask me off the bat?
I'd say writer.
Then I'd pause and say PUBLISHER.
Because to me, there is a huge difference between a writer/author, and a publisher.
In all my writing ventures I call myself a PUBLISHER for the most part, although "who I am" is a writer, to me.
But in actuality, I didnt really know the difference between a writer and author, and never bothered to find out.
To me, it boils down to "if you write a book under your name", you're an author.
If you publish it, you're both.
and if you just write, well, you're a writer ..
Other than that, I'v enever stopped to consider it!
And I wonder why she's asking me that.
But it brings that ole story up about piegon holing, which I hate.
"He doesnt go to an office so doesnt work"
"Drink beer and send emails"
"Just bodyweight exercises, so of course they're useless"
"How can pushups build any strength" ...
Or any of the other things one "automatically assumes" which in reality are the exact opposite ...
Why someone would ask me what she did is beyond me.
Maybe there's a reason. We'll see!
But for the fitness side of things?
Bodyweight exercise guru - and someone that does it - and keeps it real - and encourages, even exhorts YOU to do the same!
Anyway, this is a quick one.

Does marriage "soften" the individual?
I still remember the time when I gave my daughter a dumbphone, something I was advised roundly NOT TO.
And something I often thought about a lot - but ultimately gave in.
Let me tell you, I ain't no fan of the dumphone or smartphone or any damn phone, and even less the inantiy and videos that go on all day long.
But at least my daughter watches a lot of educational stuff on there, which is better than nought I gues (and certainly better than the rubbish going on out there in the world TODAY).
So I took the plunge, restored an old phone of mine to factory state (finally! That damn bootloader just wouldn't WORK for the life of me! Took me four hours plus...) and gave it to her.
My old xiaomi it was, I believe. Lots of memories, all gone obviously - but very much alive in my mind.
As if they were yesterday.
As my marriage in 2008 was, a "covert" affair which neither family knew about, and when they did, no-one was too happy about it.
And of course,we all know how that "ended". Hehe.
Nothing if not interesting is my life, as ole Milan Bujak told me (i've got a situation going on there too!).
Its odd though, and I dont know if he realizes it (I do business with him) "Milan" is not just a city in Italy. In Hindi, it means "meeting".
And given the websites I host with him, I wonder if it's truer than I'm writing.
Anyway, esoterism aside ...
The question begets.
"He's married now! He's over 30! He's got a kid!....."
And so forth.
And then the usual "he still hasn't settled down! Still wild! When will he ever!"
Marriage, my friend, DOES have a way of taming even the wildest of horses.
Even my wife despite the state of whatever relationship we're in now (I'm not sure what to call it!) DID manage me to get me to chop off my beloved locks, hehe.
I'm sure ole Benjamin's wife did too at a certain stage! (the guy you see on the dollar bills, hehe).
But it's funny, right down to his quotes about "why spoil a young girls life when you can make an older woman very very happy" ... the similiarties between him, me, and any other achiever in any sphere of life.
Passion, committment, spirituality etc aside. You'll notice ONE damn thing.
None of them lived "with a partner" for long.
if they were forced to, they eventually broke out whether they consciously wanted to or not.
I originally wanted to "live" with my wife.
She wanted to get married.
I thought I'd give it a shot.
Hey, why not.
Adventurous as always is yours truly!
And then of course, the Delhi Police saga, the royal mess, but anyway .. where was I?
SOME of us beasts, my friend, can never ever be tamed.
We'll be stallions no matter what.
The world will "hate" us for it, but they'll also think about the million things we have DONE and they haven't (while cursing us for it, hehe).
And thats fine.
Takes all sorts!
But yes, marriage, and the influence of a woman does tend to tame the toughest of men in many regards, but not all.
Yours truly is a shining example, and so is ole Ben.
I could give you tons of other examples too.
Curiously enough, you'll notice they're all DOERS and achievers in life, at some point, in some area ...
Now anyway, where am I leading up to this.
Certainly not asking you to date older women hehe.
Charles the former friend once made an idiotic comment to me about "you like older women with three kids".

It's about the mind, BRO.
It ain't about age, looks, or anything else.
Only an idiot would think that about either men or women.
Thinkers know different!

Now, the nub of all this.
Even if you're married, even if you're being tamed in many regards, there IS ONE thing you can do to turn back the ravages of time.
To turn back Father Time, as it were, and reclaim your MANHOOD - become an unstoppable STUD again.
Become the way you were "back in the day".
When you feared no-one, when obstacles were there to be SMASHED THROUGH.
When you were a BEAST INCARNATE!
And the way to do that, my friend, is by engaging in primal, BASE, and tough as heck workouts that get you there.
Believe me, Animal Kingdom Workouts is the course to do it, and when you do it, you'll beome a beast automatically.
They might not "know it", but they'll feel it!
Just trust me on this one!
Anyway, back to my daughter.
I didnt know I "unleashed the beast" when I got her the phone! Hehe.
She loves the dumbphone way more than she should, including cuddling it like a baby .... LOL.
