Be SOFT, yet TOUGH

Should be rule #1 on attracting women (a certain nutjob Thomas should read this!) or what you want in LIFE, hehe, especially given what I wrote about in the last two posts.

But this one isn't about women. sorry!

This is about ... well, FITNESS

Murli, a friend of mine once told me in 2008 that "he used to be HARD before".

Actually, he said this (he was a lard lump at that stage, but he's lost a CRAPLOAD of weight ever since - KUDOS Sir!!)

"Rahul, I used to play cricket before! My muscles used to be hard all the time!"

Now, I understood what he meant.

But he was wrong big time on one thing, and in his new slim and trim, possibly "sexy" avatar, now, he probably KNOWS it. Hehe.

That muscles are NOT, I repeat, NOT supposed to be hard and bloated all the time like the boobybuilders showing off at the Jim Shim

Muscles are supposed to be like LIFE itself.

FLUID, yes strong!

And thats what I just asked my daughter.

"Are you soft, or TOUGH", I asked, while pinching her adorably soft cheeks.

She glared back.

Gorilla to the CORE, hehe. And I love it!

Im both soft and TOUGH, Dad!

And as if to prove it, there she was in the handstand again, and now she's playing the GUITAR. Hehe. ROCK ON!

Gotta love a kid like that.

But really, lesson from this one is plainly stated, so for the preeners and posers out there - there it BE.

Back soon.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS - Are you a chicken or GORILLA? We'll address that soon enough too, hehe. I'm indeed in RARE Form today, hehe, as Marc would say!

BE the MAN that most women WANT

Before the flames and hems and haws start coming in, let me tell you the following ...

This email is NOT about doing pull-ups willy nilly, and how those muscles look oh so sleek against his skin ... (though that might help to a degree).

It ain't about the mental part of things - and that bro is the MOST IMPORTANT - I repeat - the most important - by far - you can be a fuddy duddy in all regards, but have your mental game down pat, and you'd still be getting more than the studs at the gym if they dont have their game down pat, and most dont.

It sure isn't about the Kamasutra either, for those wondering. No tantric "shantric" methods, no tai chi to work your balls, no this and that rubbish, no special herbs to get your little brother standing up SMART and tall, and so forth.

Maybe that's important too, I dont know. Given the number of "men" that take Viagara, I'd imagine it is and it's a real problem and I could probably tell these people how to solve it, but I won't.

Lets also cuts past the SALES "shales" on this one.

Let me give it to you STRAIGHT.

Physcially, what most women do NOT want is the following.

- Big flabby bellies hanging over your midsection.

- An unnatural six or twelve pack.

- Muscles that belong on Mr. Olympia and look like they are about to burst out of your shirt (and yet can't, ah, but we wont go there)

- STUDS in the gym - and DUDS in bed (studs at pull-ups too, you might argue, hehe, but I'm yet to see a single stud at pull-ups who fits that category!)

- Massive bloated chest muscles.

- Pelican legs (possibly the most massive turn off)

- And calves that look like they belong on a chicken (I know, but believe me, it's true).

Again, mental is most important, but we're talking PHYSICAL things here.

Ask any woman, my friend, and you'll know the above is true.

She will probably give you a "laundry list" of the rest of the things I haven't said here too, hehe.

Dont get me - or them - LOL - started.

But really, point of me saying this is most men train for looks, which ain't how it should be, but whatever.

Can't preach to the choir.

Or should I say, can't convert those that dont wanna be ...

So, if you train just for looks, and have the bloat, the puff, the buff, the muscles, and you're still, well, unable to ... you know?

Sound familiar?

Well, obviously what you're doing ain't workign my friend.

And thats all I gotta say on this one.

Not a single link in this here email either. Hehe. For a reason!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS - The ONLY other thing I'd say is if what you're NOT doing is what works, and you know it, maybe it's time to drop the pretence of being "a real man pumping weights at the JIm Shim" and get on the REAL STRENGTH TRAIN - NOW

I'd say yes ...  (and no, I wont be introducing women to anyone, male, female or in between on this list, or any list! I mean, really. The things these idiots (some of 'em) think of! LOL)

(Idiota!)

The paved expressway to “el GRAVE”.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, or was that the other way around?

Hehe.

In this case, NO.

In this case, the “paved expressway to “el GRAV-O” like I said is paved with nothing but ... well, stupidity!

Heh.

Anyway, what am I talking about you might ask.

And you’d be right to!

A few days ago I sent you guys an email about how a long term customer of mine from the UK was being told “that he should have stopped working out years ago and that he shouldn’t do it now or he’ll get a heart attack”.

You guys likely remember that.

And the dude made one of those CLASSIC comments.

“I’ve given up trying to explain it to her. Its like talking to a brick wall except the wall would likely make more sense if you know what I mean!”

Now, that ain’t a verbatim quote – the verbatim version is on the site a few emails back, but thats the sum and substance of what he said, and I must say I concur. Hehe.

And here is what Charles Mitchell, another long term customer and friend had to say about this - -

Happy New Year Rahul. As far as the conversation with your friend and customer is concerned, I am the exact same age and to stop working out is surely the express lane to the grave!  Nobody can stop the clock but exercise is the only real way we can slow it down.

People tell me I look younger than my actual age and I say thank you, but that doesn't really matter to me. What matters is what I am still able to do physically. Maintaining or even increasing strength in later years is the best thing anyone can do for themselves! Looking good as a by product is just a plus and shouldn't be the main objective.(of course that's just my opinion)

As far as bodyweight vs. weights, this is a silly conversation! Both have their pluses and minuses. Few bodyweight athletes can bench press 400 pounds, and I have yet to see a 400 pound bench presser able to do a muscle-up! Or 50 finger tip push ups for that matter!

Un fortunately, too many heavy weight lifters that lift monstrous poundages are pumped full of steroids which is not healthy. But the bodyweight exercises will build strength ( how many lifters can do hand stand push ups?) and keep you feeling and looking good and healthy for as long as you're alive. I hav done a mix of both most of my life and hope to continue to do so. And if anyone thinks that bodyweight doesn't build real strength, then they haven't done any of your programs!

The reason people buy your books is because you can do things that they can't, myself included, and they want to learn how.

So keep doing what you do and hopefully those with a reasonable intellect will see the benefit in it.

You’ll see my reply to him in a New York minute (minus the COVID ;)) but I gotta say one thing I forgot to say in my response to him.

He is SO right about the “those with a reasonable intellect part”!

No sense trying to make a horse drink in other words if it doesnt WANT to in the first place.

Anyway, here is what I had to say - -

Hey Charles

Thanks for your email, and Happy New Year! I was actually thinking of you a short while ago - thoughts DO transmute! ;)

Yes, I regard most of my regular customers as "friends" as well - you included, hehe. And YES, stopping working out makes no sense whatsoever at any age (unless one has a REAL medical issue which prevents them from doing certain things - - but, there are always ways to work around that as well). But then again, wives and S.O.'s usually don't either beyond a certain point ... if you get my drift ... ;)

(Edit, and I gotta say this - LADIES - yes, we know - neither do husbands and "male halfs of the relationship. HA! Men are indeed from Mars, and women from Venus, or perhaps the other way around sometimes! But yes, nothing against either "gender" or a mix thereof. Just how it is :D)

YES, it's never about looks in that regard either! I'm the same as you in that people are generally shell shocked when I tell 'em my real age - but hell yes, it's about HEALTH from the inside out - and real strength and fitness, first, last and foremost!

Yes, the eternal debate isn't it - with regard to bodyweight VS weight lifters. Actually lifting weights can be GOOD sometimes (por ejempelo, the overhead press is an immensely useful exercise) but it's the pumpers and toners (and like you say, the "freaks pumped full of steroids and selfies, hehe") that I really rail against. Nothing wrong at all with REAL weightlifting DONE RIGHT - - hey, those old time strongmen did a lot of it! But yes, bodyweight will always rule in a certain regard - even the old timers would be the first to say that. (Doug Hepburn, Reg Park etc) ... (just a few examples - Jack La Lanne is another very notable example).

I've seen a LOT of people actually improve their weight numbers by STOPPING the weights entirely for a while and focusing on bodyweight only. . . I'm sure you have too! I haven't yet seen the reverse though ...

How many modern day lifters can do handstands or a handstand pushup (and thats just the start)? Well, we both know the answer to that is a gigantic, big ZERO. LOL again. And that, my friend, is proof right there for the "naysayers" in terms of "does bodyweight build real strength", but of course then there's the excuse "I'm a big guy" (when most are really FAT). And so goeth the endless "convo" with the "brick wall" !!

And last, but not least, definitely going full bore on books etc. Let me know what else YOU would like to see - ah, but wait. You DID tell me -plyometrics and one arm work. Note to self for 2021! ;)

(I'm doing some one arm/leg work myself these days - its a great, great thing to do if you can do it - and again, if someone works up to it, they can - YOU included!)

.... along with "mace and club" training and a host of others. Stay tuned. Lots to do, and I'm "loving it"! ;)

Best,

Rahul

Well, my friend, thats about it for the day then. Straight from the horse’s mouth - - and in terms of books and courses – two things.

ONE, as always, please, please leave genuine reviews on the site – or Amazon etc (wherever you buy from) – or email them direct to me – it really helps.

And two, of course, shoot me an email if there is something you think I haven’t covered as yet, and I’ll be happy to make a note as I did for Charles (and actually a few others too!) and put it on the “to do list” for 2021.

And of course, Windoze – Linux should be the #1 thing on that list too!

But anyway, write back – let me know – we’re always happy to hear from you guys!

And so goes it. Back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Notice his comments about “how many lifters can do a handstand”. He’s spot on again. Charles is one smart dude! And here is where you can pick up the course on handstand pushups – and LEARN how to do ‘em – Shoulders like Boulders.

Once you’re past elementary stage you might want to pick up Battletank Shoulders!

And I FINALLY put out that shoulder compilation, so you can pick BOTH up in “one package” right HERE - - Barnstormer Shoulders! (Gawd only knows why it took me so long to do something so elementary, especially considering the other compilations have been out there for a long, long time, but hey, “dats” life!).

PS #2 – Pushup Central is probably the course that challenges Charles the most, and he loves it! Pick it up right NOW – it WILL get you int he best shape of your life – and remember - - Animal Kingdom Workouts is another BARNSTORMER of a course- be sure and grab!

PPS – All this Spanish talk in my emails reminds me I never did tell you ONE thing. LOTS of our courses have been translated into Spanish and Portugese. They’re not on MY sites for logistical reasons, but in case anyone’s interested, let me know – and I’ll have a link etc sent over.

IF there is a language YOU would like to see our books in other than English, let me know and I’ll see what I Can do!

(In other words – feedback rocks – and rules!)

(and she said that while making the appropriate physical gesture too).

(She WAS HOT!) (angry, hehe).

‘Tis hilarious indeed, but first a short (or a couple of short) stories ...

When Matt Furey once came out with his “Chinese long life secrets” or some such program, he headlined his product as follows (I’m thinking it was one of the subheads actually – I think the heading was something else).

Apparently at the time of writing Matt was injured in the gym (thumb to kidney – and believe me, that shit HURTS) and he couldn’t “perform” in the bedroom or something to that effect (at least temporarily).

And I ain’t sure if the page is still up, but I remember the marketing genuis behind it.

“In frustration, my wife turned me to me and said “I dont want a man thats a stud in the bedroom and a DUD in the gym!”

Now, these are evocative words indeed (and I suspect Matt paraphrased, but he did it in the right way).

Yours truly titled the books on pull-ups that got Bozo Schofield so riled up “dud to stud” and “stud to super stud” for a reason as well!

But it has got NOTHING to do with sex. Hehe.

But anyway, I remember a comment or a couple of ones my lovely and often angry wife makes (to be honest, strangers would be better friends than us, hehe, but whatever – it is what it is for now).

One was the comment in the title of the post when I was talking about exercise, I believe.

People often pooh pooh what they can’t do, for one.

“nuff said.

(And that I’m sure rings a bell with certain people who complain up a storm about my pull-ups, hehe).

(not in bed, don’t worry. Hehe).

But anyway ... she also once made the following comment during an argument.

“You dont know what I want!”

“You can’t give me what I want!”

Now, for reference ...

This was a long period between “romps in the hay” as it were.

I’m an avid practitioner of Napoleon Hill’s sexual transmutation theories, and it shows in my work.

Show me a successful man that isn’t highly sexed, and I’ll eat my hat!

(and it ain’t green either, hehe). The green ones have Bozo you know who written on it. Sad part, or maybe not, he LIKES that ...

(And a very long list of names I haven’t counted bears testament to that).

And it also bears testament to what Hill said about men NOT succeeding in a big way before 40 (the vast majority).

“Most men before that age spend their time dissipating their fine energies to the wind, in other words, sowing their wild oats”.

Hey.

Given my own background, I can’t say I disagree, hehe.

The very first thing I told my “lovely wife” (if you can call her that) in 2008 on Google Chat I believe it was!

The sauanas, the girls, everything ... LOL. The whole shebang as it were.

“How dare you tell me that”, was the response.

I can never get away from the “how dare I’s”, can I. Heh.

But anyway, comic relief aside (hey, I’m nothing if not brutally FRANK and I wanted her to KNOW who she was marrying, or “with” at the time) ... the point begets.

When you transfer your sexual energy into your work, miracles will happen my friend. Trouble is most men do NOT do it right ...

There is a reason boxers and wrestlers refrain from sex for MONTHS before a big fight – let me just tell you that.

And there is a reason why ancient Indian wrestlers were shit scared of “night dreams”.

Now, i cover some of this in my coaching calls. Sure.

But esoterism and transmutation aside, here are two FACTS.

One, being a TRUE stud DOES turn women on. No matter how much they deny it. Hehe. Proof’s in the pudding ...

And TWO, and more importantly, and for YOU on this list.

All of the exercises I do do the exact opposite of decreasing your libido.

You’ll be ready to go and then some in the sack, I’ll tell you that when you do these quick workouts that make your blood roar!

I’d still advise saving “your best for your work”.

But thats an entirely individual decision of course, and yours truly “el monk and caveman” probably is NOT the best person to tell you how to live your life, and does NOT want to either!

But yeah.

These workouts don’t just promote health, strength and fitness.

They increase LIBIDO.

The big T.

And they eliminate the need for that pesky V...

Alright, enough of the pseudo-raunch.

To get it on via the BEST damn fitness system ever – go right HERE – the 0 Excuses Fitness System.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – With the new paperback options on the site, you can get just the book if you want. I wouldn’t recommend it though. These exercises DO need a bit of a video tutorial which is why I created them (despite my DISLIKE of anything video or remotely close to it).

Grab NOW.

PS #2 - I can almost feel the flames coming off Bozo Schofield's face as he reads this. YEE-HA!

(but really, dude. It's true. She'd rather do it the normal way for one as opposed to your inane tendencies to "be a slave" or what not ...)

(inane because you PUSH it on her when she doesnt want it!)

PPS - To become a RAMPAGING super STUD at doing pull-ups - - a REAL MAN - - with REAL MAN WORKOUTS - grab the advanced course NOW, and get cranking. This will truly builds levels of strength hitherto UNKNOWN to you, and will make you virile, young, and a bonafide STUD again - and yes, the effects extend to the bedroom mostl likely too. Heh.

On “40 years of Rocky”, and more ...

So, I just watched a movie last night. A rather short one!

From an all time favorite actor of mine.

Perhaps My ONLY favorite actor – Sly Stallone!

And he’s made a short little documentary film on Rocky which is little more than a brain dump to be honest. And I knew that from the get go after readin the movie reviews.

And yet, Stallone is a man I highly admire.

He’s been there, done that, blazed a trail – and then some!

Fitness wise, he’s ... well, I dont think we need to go there! A guy thats making movies such as the Expendables at an age WELL over 65 or so (I think he’s way over 70 now?).

And while the last installment of the Rambo series was more gore than anything else, Stallone’s still in awesome condition for a man his age.

I’ve spoken about the similiarity between his conditioning routines and mine ... and how both him and I later realized that those LONG drawn out workouts with LESS food (and Stallone truly went to extremes!) was doing more harm than good.

They got results, but ...

Stallone’s muscle really exploded once he learned the value of doing LESS, not more – in the gym (and knowing his body!).

Anyway, in the brain dump amongst other things he talks about never giving up.

He talks about how his life was going nowhere fast.

And how it literally EXPLODED the year Rocky was released!

“Keep buying those lottery tickets! You never know when you might hit the jackpot!”

And he is RIGHT.

Now, in the movie, they went into a lot of interesting details about how Rocky was made on a shoestring budget which dwindled even further as the shooting progressed.

And, how the extras that were supposed to show up never did, hehe, because of pay etc, and how they improvised on the spot.

All great stuff, and while the majority of people won’t get it, Stallone is actually imparting more education in that half hour than most will get in their lives (similar to what I do in these daily emails of mine).

Take it or leave it, but the part about rehearsals bears WEIGHT.

They rehearsed CONTINOUSLY for months for the Rocky fights, trying to get it just right.

Stallone said that most movies dealing with boxing do NOT do these lengthy rehearsals.

Big mistake, and so sayeth the man himself.

And again, he is RIGHT.

Anyway, even while doing those lengthy rehearsals, there was doubt in Stallone’s mind as to whether all of the effort would pay off, and would be worth it.

Remember, this is a guy that slept on park benches and Grand Central station at a certain point, and had like $106 in his bank account at the time Rocky was accepted, and sold his dog off, pawned his wife’s jewelry, and, well, you get the picture.

A guy that did what he had to do.

And he put in the work.

Kept the faith.

And the results?

‘nuff said, hehe.

But really.

Point begets.

They say you need at least 10,000 hours of practice to get truly good at a skill.

Could be writing emails. Books. Could be teaching. Could be doin gpull-ups.

Could be hill climbs (those long workouts! I still remember!).

Could be walking X number of steps per day, and feeling ASTONISHED at 30 k steps taken during a single workout (that number adds up!)

But really, bro.

You gotta put in the time.

And you gotta keep the faith!

And if you do these two things, you’re WAY ahead of most people already, and you WILL get results down the pike – line – that will ASTOUND you.

Guaran-damn-teed.

Hang in there – stay strong – and HIT IT! TODAY!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

Yours truly “caveman” doesnt really get into news at all these days.

Well, Ikeep myself informed, but thats about it.

On the important things.

And one of the LEAST important things for me, if you can even call it that is “celeb gossip”.

UGH!

I do NOT want to keep up with the latest celeb breakfast, or how their dog is so cute, or other “cutesy details they share” (Priyanka Chopra, an Indian actress recently shared something about her husband “wants to see her face before she puts make up on- first thing in the morning after waking up).

UGH!

Not the act itself. But this sort of idiotic, inane news ...

But anyway, I wrote about cricket before.

And Virat Kohli, say what you might about him otherwise is at the very PINNACLE of his batting career, and how – and he’s fit as a fiddle (unlike most others in the Indian cricket team).

(well, at least of yore, but even now to be honest) ...

But Kohli is a FITNESS MANIAC!

Anyway, it doesnt surprise me that his wife a Bollywood actress (who is recently pregnant) shared a picture on social sh-media about ... her doing a modified handstand – and that while pregnant!

Quite the baby bump she’s got. I’m assuming at least four month or perhaps 5. I ain’t kept up ...

But Kohli was supporting her, while she in her own words “it was perfectly safe and used the wall for extra support, with my very able husband helping me”

And very able indeed he is!

Carol a student of mine often wanted my help in doing handstands, and I’d often support her like that at the top of the hill as she did it, and then I would (without help of course).

But while both the ladies are holding static poses, the FIRST lady is pregnant!

And she’s doing a modified forearm version of the handstand at that.

Somewhat easier given the support she’s geting, but still, while pregnant!

Just goes to show where there is a will, there is a way!

So now, where is your excuse?

Write back – and tell me!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – HERE is where you can get on the Shoulders Like BOULDERS! Train.

PS #2 – Her pose is called something in “yoga shmoga” but for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the pose.

PPS - If you needed any further reason as to why I call my fitness system - truly a LANDMARK and NEVER seen before system in many ways - the ZERO EXCUSES FITNESS SYSTEM!

Wolf workouts, and building momentum!

It’s often said that once you’ve got momentum BUILDING – or BUILT up – at anything – you’re unstoppable.

Could be a cricket match (currently we have India vs Australia where India is chasing a mammoth score that the Aussies pulverized India for – btw – a shout out to the Aussie cricket team – I’ve always loved ‘em - - great, great “barnstormers” if I may borrow the term John!).

Especially Smith and Maxwell, but of course, Kohli and Rahul may have something to say about that! ;)

(Edit - just checked, and the "King" of one day chases is out, hehe).

We’ll see how it pans out.

In the meantime though ... I’ve been feeling weak today. That stomach bug left me a bit weak it seems, and though I slept most of it off, and woke up feeling fine, I wasn’t sure what to write to you about.

Guess what I did.

I (and I know many are going to hate me for saying this, hehe) ... JUST DID IT!

Built momentum with a few sentences and though today was supposed to be a writing free day, I’m back at it!

Same thing for workouts, bro.

You just do it. Despite the hoo haa that Charles, a friend of mine made about my “just do it” approach ultimately it’s what WORKS – in life – biz – fitness.

YOU BUCKLE DOWN TO BRASS TACKS.

And then YOU JUST DO IT, bro!

No whining. No whinging No Mama’s Boy Scofield drama.

You get down to it.

And you just do it!

Anyway, wolves.

I’ve written before about that, hehe.

How an Uncle of mine often called me a “wolf” for my lifestyle.

And he was right, of course. I prefer “caveman”, but lone wolf works fine too!

(The Bozo got that part right, although he used the term “loner” as if it was something to be ashamed of. Yes. Figured he’d say that. Bozos generally make those judgements!

Guess what – when you cut out bozos out of you life and become a “loner” and associate ONLY with those that are aligned with YOU and lift you UP as opposed to drag you DOWN – is the day your life will improve, and how!).

(You wont believe it – it’ll seem like magic, but it’s true. Cut what you dont want out of your life, and scary though the thought might be, guess what replaces it!)

And for a brief while there, I thought about becoming “Denzel” in Training Day and putting out “Wolf Workouts”, hehe.

Thats a rooster, dawg! Give me a wolf!

Classic!

I love ole Denzel. Training day is one of my favorite flicks. Right up there!

And ... it’s workouts like I advocate – WOLF like workouts done on your lonesome without the bros primping and preening and posing and looking at the girls next to you.

It’s the WOLF like workouts that give you gumption – strength – character – and the DESIRE, WILL and power to face ANYTHING in life!

Ever wondered how most prisoners are in such kick ass shape? Charles Bronson for one?

And I’ll leave you be on that note!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Pushups and Isometrics were part of Bronson’s routine. Dont believe me? Well – read his book – and no, I get nothing for promoting it, but what he said was true – and thats precisely what I have been saying !

PS 2 – NO, I do not advocate breaking the law to get in shape, hehe. I know that sounds silly to say, but trust me – with some of the nimrods out there on the Web readin gthis via Google or whatever – well – I had and have to say it! Hehe. Like I tell people to be “careful” when doing handstands. You would be nigh on surprised at how the elementary things need to be drilled into the vast majority of people!

Workout #2 ... and more on RUNNING!

So as promised, the update!

But before that, a bit on running, something I Wrote about the other day.

You'll remember I wrote about running not being as bad as it's made out to be – provided it's NOT pavement pounding, and YES, there is a difference!

Anyway, being that I hadn't exercised “twice a day” for a while, I saw many old faces out there in the park at nighttime, including a guy I wrote about before once.

A realistic dude, and a business person (who does NOT buy into the mask wearing nonsense, and neither does he buy into the panic. Precautions NOT panic as I'm sure he'd agree!).

Naturally, we got to talking. I think I Was doing monkey bar work at the time, and he came up to me, and the first thing I noticed (and told him).

“Man!!! You've lost some weight, thats for sure!

And though it was dark, I gave him the once over again.

Yes! On the face, neck, and especially the legs etc. And the belly was a lot less from what I remember before (he wasn't really “fat” before, just perhaps a bit overweight, but he's positively looking slim and STRONG now!).

And he's been running around the park at a pretty brisk clip too, which is something I never saw him do before.

And as he said ...

“you know, running really helps! It's boring, but it helps!”

“Yes”, I replied, grinning. “Especially if you run FAST as you are!”

“Well, even slowly” he replied. “I used to do it slowly for a long time, and ... “

“Yes. You do need to do it for a long time in that case!”

And the boring part, and then of course we got to talking about uphill walks, runs, and more.

 And then, of course.

 The situation.

 The plague from China.

And I must admit, this dude gave me a point of view I had NOT thought of before, at least not actively.

"I think once the COVID19 scare passes is when the world will really start to stick to China and demand that ... “

"Yes”, I said. “Right now people just dont know what to do”.

“Yes. Keeping their heads above water as it were!”

Anyway, this dude is doing great in HIS Own business, and is a great example of something I've been saying all along i.e. The smart businessmen make MORE dough during the downtimes, and those are usually the businesses that last for the long term!

And workout wise, it was a great one.

 50 pull-ups.

And various types of pull-ups, including those fabled rope and ring pull-ups ... oh boy!

Can feel it right now.

And no, while 50 pull-ups and 3000 jumps may sound like a lot (it is, actually) – you do NOT need to go that long or for that many reps.

Even doing something SHORT – brief and quick – twice a day gets the trick done.

In the wild, yous ee a tiger walk slowly for hours on end, but when it comes time to get the job done? ?

BAM! That deer don't stand a chance, and thats often the only real sprint the tiger does for days.

Same thing for YOU.

You could do sprints every other day, for instance. A 15 minute investment ALL IN ALL even for the super fit amongst you.

Or, perhaps 25 pushups in the morning, and 25 at night depending upon your fitness levels.

Hardly herculean in terms of time eh.

Or perhaps you jump rope for 10 minutes in the morning. Do pull-ups and pushups at night!

Key is to do something daily.

Key is to do something multiple times a day, but NOT BURN out when you do so!

And so it goes.

And thats really how it goes, my friend. More later!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

…. that you need to avoid at all costs, I should say.

What do I mean.

Well I've written tomes about the “how dare he!” thoughts I get and pick up from TONS of people out there familiar with my writings. And my work. And more! ;)

You truly ARE defined more by your haters than thos ethat love you and buy from you, and if you have any doubt on this, just look at any successful person my friend (anyone you consider successful) and you'll quickly see the TRUTH behind this statement.

 Now, back to it.

Ever notice when people make the following statements …

"Oh, those politicians! They're all hand in glove! They're all in cahoots!”

"Oh, those big business men, they're all way out of our league! All in cahoots!”

And so goes the mournful chant, accompanied by a “deflated” feeling on the part of the person saying it, and then of course IRRITATION.

And ignorance of the fact (well, consciously, but not subconsciously!) that they themselves are as far from said person's success as I am from Mars right about now at the time of writing this, for one …

 Now, note two things.

 The above is correct.

And the above two statements … well, in theory they may or may not be right.

 That ain't the point though.

Point is the emphasis on the word “them” (or those).

People making statements like these put themselves into a different bracket from the above subconsciously.

Am I saying dont use the word?

 Not at all.

It's there in the English language for a reason.

But it's the WAY in which that word is used!

As if these people are God, or someone the mourners can't emulate!

 Of course they can.

The fact is, most people are too LAZY to buckle down to brass tacks and DO what it takes to get to where they want to be, rather preferring to focus on social media shmedia, “follow” their favorite people, and in general do everything but that what is required to get THEM to the point that THEY can …

…. ah, but they don't even believe they can!

And therein lies the crux of the issue, and why most people in this here world do NOT succeed (and no, it ain't their “fault” either in many regards).

We've been fed a crock of shit my friend.

We've been all spoonfed the crock of “getting a good job”, for one, and living a steady life, but what about the virtues of “doing your own thing” and the satisfaction you get from finally getting there, not to mention being able to make LIFE MARCH TO YOUR OWN TERMS?

How often do we hear that?

 No. We don't.

We hear “oh, you have no ambition! You can never do it!”

And being our minds believe anything that we're told enough number of times, (subconscious mind that is, and therein lies the SEAT of accomplishment and true power) …

 Hey, look buddy.

These guys were the same as YOU once.

Donald Trump for one has been broke and has FAILED way more times than he has succeeded and sit down with him and have a chat, and he'll be the first one to tell you.

Jeff Bezos was nothing but an unemployed office worker who was told NOT to create Amazon when he first started!

And this holds true for ANY successful person. I cannot remember the other example I had in mind this morning, but the above two should suffice.

It aint about you're not in their league. Anyone can be, if they try!

When I hear statements like the above, incredulousness jumps to my mind, not because “they aren't in cahoots” necessarily.

 They might be.

But because of how the person says the word “they” …

As if they themselves can never get there.

 YES – YOU CAN!

The human mind if harnessed correctly can perform MIRACLES my friend. Nigh on miracles, and this is as true as the sunlight shining outside the window in the late afternoon as I sit here writing this …

(Nah, not really. I'm in my cave. Hehe)..

And yeah, it applies to FITNESS too.

“You look like am ovie star!”

 “You're super fit!”

“I wish I had great genetics like you!” (newsflash, the idiots who say this have NO clue; it's the exact opposite!)

And while I've written about all that before, the MENTALITY of the person saying this is something I wanna mention today.

“I can never get there”, person is subconsciously thinking (if he's the lazy loser slob type).

The DOERS, on the other hand look at me. Or anyone they consider to be at a high level.

They say NOTHING in most cases.

They get down to brass tacks. They invest in the PRODUCTS they need. And they just DO IT.

Pretty sure, they're at the same level themselves, or better in some ways!

And thats what it's truly about my friend.

You have to stop making excuses to yourself my friend.

You have to stop trying to convince yourself that you “cant”.

And most of all, you gotta stop bickering and JUST DO IT (one reason I love Trump so muchj, and one reason that while I didnt even mention politics etc before 2020, I do now, and a lot, because he's a goddamned businessman, not a politician, and he gets thing DONE – high energy, high OCTANE!!)

If you're too fat to do pull-ups, then just lose weight my friend.

I dont care if that means you starve or don't drink beer. I don't care if it means the latest keto-sheeto diet, or what not. I don't care if you feel tired and rundown. I don't give a shit about any of that.

What I care about is you getting down to brass tacks and just doing it my friend.

Believe me, simple approaches work the best, and this one approach will reap RICH dividends, if you just let it!

And thats that for now. Back soon!

 Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Again, make sure to GET ON THE fitness train right HERE my friend. Truly the best fitness investment you'll ever make and one that just flat out works!

PS #2 – Ah, I just remembered. I was going to talk about Herschel Walker!

Charles who moaned about my info being useless said the following about him.

“But he's got great genetics! Muscle sticks to him like shit on a ...”

(Um no it doesnt brah. And he's said it himself plenty of times. He's a hard gainer with terrible genetics!)

“He's 75 lbs bigger than you!”

(This when doing a discussion on how according to Charles big guys couldn't do pull-ups.)

(I mean, really. Not only does it have nothing to do with the price of fish in Germany for one, but it's a ridiculous statement to make anyway in the context of the discussion. Big small, yada, nada, schnada. Who cares! Just get off your ass, lose that weight, and then just do it BRAH!)

… And Yes, you CAN get to his levels if you believe, but you won't, but this is not for you, it's for the others reading that can, and WILL BELIEVE!

PPS – Be sure and pick up the PATHBREAKING course on pull-ups rigt here. The latest edition is PEPPERED with tips that will BLAST your performance sky high and right through the gym roof. You'll never want to gym shym again once you get good at PULL-UPS!!!!!!!!!

Hindsight, fitness, and more . . .

So, hindsight is always 20/20 eh?

And it is.

I was talking to a friend of mine this afternoon about this, and many memories came flooding back.

A country I fell in love with at the callow age of 17 . . . if just due to the sheer FREEDOM it offered, and the “smell of opportunity”!

A jaunt down to the local U.S. Army recruiting center . . .

China, way back in 2004 when I first showed up there - - and believe it or not, that China was a far, far nicer place to be in than the China of TODAY.

Yes, they were hiding their strengths and biding their time!

But it was still a nicer place to be, and much much more “open” in many regards. The Internet etc wasn’t near as closed as it is now, and in general, it was just a far nicer and “developing” place to be – which again, in turn meant OPPORTUNITY – and there was lots of it back then!

Now?

The polar opposite, and that’s sad, because the Chinese people as a whole didn’t really do much to “Deserve” what is going on now.

Then again, did they not?

As we think, so we are. The great Claude Bristol wrote about this in the Magic of Believing, and he’s RIGHT.

I find it hard to believe that Communist China could have and does keep more than a billion people literally under it’s thumb without those people “tactitly agreeing” to the repression (and worse than that if we’re talking about the Ughurs and other ethnic minorities) . . .

. . . anyway, where am I going with this, you might ask?

Damned good question. Other than the numerous flashbacks pouring in, I’m not quite sure myself!

But the trip to the US Army recruitment center stands out, and I was chatting with my friend about it this morning . .  .

Many other things do as well, but this email is about hindsight. If’s, but’s, maybe, many things!

And while yours truly could certainly have probably joined the Army, or Marines, or perhaps even stayed on long term in the US, it didn’t quite work out that way due to various reasons.

If you read Think and Grow Rich, or “Outwitting the Devil”, or any of the other books by Napoleon Hill, a man roundly ridiculed in his time as a “charlatan”, but revered today as a thought leader and indeed a visionary, you’ll find one common thread.

At least, the thinkers amongst you will.

You’ll see that the guy could have done damn well anything he put his mind to, but for whatever reason, down the years, despite all the many businesses he was “into”, he never really succeeded until he found and STUCK to his main purpose in life (and finding that itself was a journey that took many many years!).

WHAT is it that you were truly brought onto this planet to DO, my friend?

WHAT is the ONE THING that nigh on NO-ONE - - even your worst enemies would even think of criticizing you for?

That ONE THING is the thing you were meant to do and until you find out that thing, and DO it, well, hindsight’s will keep popping up in mind!

And they did for me today, but not for the reason mentioned above.

Yes, sometimes yours truly sits back and reflects upon “what if I had done this”.

What if I had taken a different path. Made a different choice. NOT made all the mistakes I have, and still do.

Had more support.

Was “shown the right direction” (and more importantly in the right WAY, as a professor of mine tried to do once . . .) . . .

And after thinking about all of it, do you know the UNANIMOUS and unflinching decision I always arrive at?

That things always happen for a reason my friend.

And would I change a damn thing about the past, pleasant or not?

Hell no.

I wouldn’t be the person I am today without all those experiences shaping me!

And last, but not least, fitness wise?

Curiously enough, or maybe NOT, much like napoleon Hill, despite my many ups and downs, despite the uncanny similiarity my life thus far bear to Hill’s, there is ONE thing (that much like Hill) I have NEVER compromised upon.

Not for long periods at least.

My fitness.

Back then, I swam, and walked a hell of a lot up and down stairs etc. I wrote about that in the book on 16 Inspirational Fitness Recollections!

In China, I did pushups and found my hill courtesy the very “stern” Miss Lee. Thank you Madam – that is the ONE thing I’ll remember you for, always will!

(A hill right next to my house, right under my nose, and I didn’t even know about it! Haha).

I then moved on to subway sprints during my couple of years in Delhi.

IN the Middle East, it was runs along the beach and hitting the heavy bag.

Back in China, back to my hill, and then . . . finally, well, 0 Excuses Fitness, and well, you know the rest!

Would I change a damn thing?

Hell no.

But fitness wise, this is the point I’m making.

Lots of people look back and say “oh, I COULD do this when I was younger”.

Or, “I wish I had done this . . . “

Well, unlike many other choices my friend, fitness is a choice where you aren’t constrained by much other than your own thinking and BODY.

And there’s always a way, my friend. Always a way if there is a will.

On that note, I’ll leave you be, but before that . . .

It ain’t about “what if” and “but” when it comes to fitness”, or hindsight.

It’s about doing the thing now – and getting to work – NOW!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee
