Make Pushups a part of your daily routine

Pushups should be a part of your daily routine

As the title says, pushups are something every one should be doing on a daily basis. Yes, they ARE that important!

Pushups are a basic exercise, and a cornerstone of virtually any athlete's training routine. The more physicality involved in the athlete's chosen sport, the more important the pushup is in their training routine. Let's take at boxers for example - they do hundreds of pushups on a DAILY basis. Sure, they do other things as well - but pushups are one of the main reasons behind their well conditioned upper bodies that don't just look strong - but ARE strong. In addition to this, pushups develop a base for you upon which you can "build" with advanced exercises for the upper body (such as the pull-up).

Pushups, done correctly, tax the entire upper body and the core - as well as the legs in some variations. They are essentially thus an overall body exercise, and build strength all over the body. The workouts need not be long - in fact, 15-30 minutes of pushups done right is a total body blaster even for an advanced trainee. You will build strength and endurance in your chest, arms, forearms, back and core - and even your legs in some of the variations - all in a short time.

The benefits do not end there either - pushups can provide a fantastic cardiovascular workout as well when done correctly. And the best part is that you need never be bored with your pushup workouts - if you know what you are doing. There are endless types of variations that you can do - endless combinations of reps, sets, and so forth. In short, the sky is the limit, both with regard to the actual exercise and also with regard to the benefits you will get from incorporating the exercise into your daily routine.

In addition to knowing what exercises to do, it is equally important to do them in correct form and technique. I include in-depth descriptions of various types of pushups, and how to do them in Fast and Furious Fitness.

Last, but not least, you don't have to be an athelete to benefit from this exercise. The average individual will benefit just as much, and probably MORE, from doing pushups on a daily basis.

Now that you know how important this exercise is, the only thing remaining is to get down to doing them. I'll bet you will see a major increase in your overall strength and physical fitness once you include this exercise in your routine. So, get cracking on "dem" pushups, and let me know how you do. I look forward to your updates.
